The parts for my music production computer have arrived. The case is HUGE. I wanted something I can upgrade and add to over time, and between it and the memory capacity the mother board can handle, I’ve got it. Now it is a matter of finding the time to build the thing.
Right now, the parts are at a relative’s house. I live on a dirt road, and delivery services are notorious for being lazy and not delivering stuff to my house, even if I had ordered priority shipping. One time, I tracked a delivery that said “Attempted delivery, no-one home.” If I wasn’t so annoyed, I would have laughed. I was home all day. And even if I was in the back of the house and couldn’t hear someone knock on the door, we have a dog inside that barks VERY LOUD anytime someone who doesn’t live here drives up. Even with earplugs, you could hear that bark. So no… They didn’t attempt delivery. So I had this order delivered to a site in the city, so there would be no excuses.
I’m dealing with a nasty stomach bug today and do not feel like going anywhere or doing anything, so the parts will just have to sit over there for now. But at least I’ve got them. So this is one step further on this little journey.
